Abstract

This paper presents construction and acoustical data of the new National Theatre (1522 seats), the Concert Hall (2077 seats) and the Recital Hall (365 seats) which were opened in 1987 in Taipei, ROC. Additionally, it describes the acoustical design considerations and design procedures, including tests on 1:20 models of the National Theatre and of the Concert Hall.
