Abstract

The paper presents the results of experimental studies on the filtration of a reservoir fluid (crude oil containing paraffins) through sedimentary rocks under the influence of acoustic vibrations in an ultrasound band. A laboratory rig is assembled that allows for modeling the filtration of a fluid from a reservoir into a well during the propagation of elastic waves from a well. Medium permeability sandstones are the focus of the study. The effect of acoustic vibrations manifests itself in unblocking the pore space and leads to restoration of rock permeability to different extents. Dependences of rock permeability on the frequency of acoustic vibrations are obtained. A model of the influence of acoustic vibrations on paraffin particles is developed.
