Abstract

The dispersion relation in a counterstreaming dusty plasma is derived, taking into account grain charge variation. In order to obtain solutions for small and large k we transform the dispersion relation into a polynomial form as shown elsewhere and find the zeros of this simpler relation. Careful analysis permits us to investigate the counterstreaming growth rate instability domain, varying some parameters as: dust fraction, Te/Ti fraction, beam velocities and charge fluctuation. For small dust fraction we observe, that the modes interact weakly. Collisions are ignored in this work.
