Abstract

By using the reductive perturbation technique, we derived a Kadomtsev–Petviashvili (KP) equation for unmagnetized, hot, collisionless, and two-ion-temperature plasma with isothermal ions and adiabatic dusty fluid. It suggests that the nonlinear dust acoustic solitary waves in this dusty plasma are stable even there are some higher order transverse perturbations. There are either rarefactive solitary waves or compressive solitary waves in this dusty plasma which has been verified analytically in this paper.
