Abstract

The article presents with the data on the peculiarities of etiology and pathogenesis of acne vulgaris and acne conglobata, as well as a clinical description of various forms of acne. The main causes of the resistance of acne vulgaris and acne conglobata to treatment by topical and systemic medicines are considered. The algorithms of examination and treatment of patients in cases of severe forms of acne and their therapeutic resistance are given. New possibilities of treatment of acne patients with the use of Acnetin® are shown.
