Abstract

Acid protease activity is increased in spinal cord and foreleg muscles in wobbler mice with motor neuron disease as compared to control mice from the wobbler colony. The control mice from the wobbler colony, which contain a large proportion of heterozygotes have higher level of acid protease activity in spinal cord, but not muscle, than mice from other strains.
