Abstract

<p indent=0mm>4,5-Diazofluorenone is a potential polymer semiconductor unit because it has high thermal stability, low LUMO energy level, and can be doped with acid. In this article, 4,5-diazofluorenone-contained donor-acceptor type polymer semiconductor is designed and synthesized. Experimental results show that the polymer can be doublly doped with mesylate acid, accompanied with the maximum solution peak absorption red-shifting and distinct color change. Interestingly, after acid doping, the polymer can be further doped with iodide ion. Film conductance measurement shows that the conductance of the polymer changes significantly before and after doping. These results demonstrate the 4,5-diazofluorenone unit can be applied into the polymer semiconductor with multiple doping character.
