Abstract

The reactions of thiocyanates with camphene catalyzed by the heteropoly acids H3PW12O40 and H4SiW12O40 were studied. The optimal reaction conditions were found, and the formation of N-substituted thiocarbamates in comparatively high yields was established. It was shown that the heteropoly acids exhibit a higher catalytic activity than sulfuric acid.
