Abstract

In a wireless network the network throughput is extremely significant factor. Before it achieve by CSMA/CA, except its throughput is little. Though the number of nodes in a WLAN increase speedily, cruel collision to a great extent degrade system routine. In CSMA /CA cruel collisions in the uplink, (ii) head-of-line problem cause by evaporation out the downlink, and (iii) stern injury connecting uplink and downlink. By means of the distributed development these troubles are avoiding. In DMUS, a nodule (i) calculate its normalize SNR (signal to noise ratio) since the ratio of its immediate SNR to its standard SNR, and (ii) contend by means of a disagreement window (CW) for the channel to start its uplink or downlink broadcast after its normalize SNR is better than a threshold. Scheduling is done in a data link layer. I propose different access categories by exploiting multiple SNR thresholds inside a node. To reduce the delay in the real-time traffic by using the low SNR threshold. To improve the throughput in background traffic by using the high SNR threshold. High priority traffic is transmitted under the control of the AP by exploiting hybrid channel access. Low-priority traffic is transmitted via distributed Scheduling In the proposed DMUS scheme, the carrier sense mechanism leftovers the similar but contention window is permanent. The numeral of contender is abridged and the contender alters in excess of time according to their immediate CSI.
