Abstract

A policy brief for the International Science Council that identifies the synergies in risk management approaches across the major global agreements of Sendai, Paris and the SDGs. The role of systemic and cascading risks is emphasised in recognition of the extreme widespread and long-lasting potential impacts of such events. Key policy messages are presented.
