Abstract
Previously we identified that NAMPT is essential for the G-CSF-triggered granulocytic differentiation via a NAD+- sirtuin-1-dependent pathway. Sirtuins are NAD+-dependent protein deacetylases and we found that myeloid-specific transcription factors C/EBPα and C/EBPß are deacetylated and activated by SIRT1.
