Abstract

The article deals with the notion of device in University teaching. The analysis of the notion is carried out from three perspectives: epistemological, didactic and group. From the epistemological perspective, through the theories of complexity, related to the level of action, the notion of device is linked to the notion of strategy. From the didactic perspective, the concept of device is refered to a, in a broad sense, methodological construction for university education. Finally, from a group perspective, the author refers to the group device in a strict sense. Its characteristics are pointed out, presenting different possible devices in the field of university teacher education.
