Abstract

Angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors (ACEis) have been shown to decrease the incidence of radiation pneumonitis when taken during conventionally fractionated radiation therapy. A similar effect has not been demonstrated in stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT). The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect that ACEi use during SBRT has on the subsequent risk of pulmonary toxicity.
