Abstract

Galerkin's method, combined with the method of analytical regularization in the Hankel-transform domain, is used to analyze a circular-disk metallic printed antenna. The fundamental effects are investigated, such as the surface-wave and space-wave powers and the radiation efficiency. The validity of the cavity (magnetic-current) model is studied. © 2000 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. Microwave Opt Technol Lett 25: 211–216, 2000.
