Abstract

Evaluation of the Bose–Einstein functions g3/2 and g5/2, where gn(x)=∑i=1∞xi/in over the physically meaningful range 0⩽x⩽1, is considered. We derive expansions in Chebyshev polynomials that are shown to be very efficient and accurate. © 1997 American Institute of Physics.
