解决我国医学教育改革与发展中出现的问题、规范医学院校管理;引导不同类型的医学院校注重质量、注重教学、从严治教、走具有特色发展之路,建立中国医学教育认证制度是当务之急.澳大利亚医学教育认证制度经历了20余年的历程,对澳大利亚医学教育事业的发展起到了重要作用.澳大利亚医学教育体制与我国相似,其认证制度对建立我国医学教育认证制度具有一定的借鉴意义。
