Abstract
A mathematical model and algorithms of the basic problem of interior ballistics of the electrothermal-chemical (ETC) launcher on slurry/liquid propellant (SP) is presented. Simplifying assumptions permit the equations to be reduced to the numerical integration of a quasilinear equations system in partial derivatives of a hyperbolic type for functions of two arguments, with appropriate boundary conditions. Calculated and experimental results are compared.
