Abstract

Art is a tool that everyone can use to express themselves. It can help us learn about the world around us, and it can also show us how we look to others. Because of these very same reasons, art is a great way for students with disabilities to express themselves and gain confidence in their abilities. Students with disabilities can learn the art industry by learning how to draw and how to create their own art. The aims of art for students with disabilities are to understand their own emotions and feelings learn how to express themselves, experience social interaction and develop self-confidence by creating artwork from an emotional level. The scope of art for students with disabilities allows them to discover the skills that are most useful for them to fulfill their desired careers.
