Abstract
The accidental displacement of teeth into the fascial spaces constitutes an unusual complication, however, there are reports in worldwide literature of displacements to the infratemporal fossa,1 maxillary sinus,2 submandibular space,3 pterygomandibular space,4 lateral pharyngeal space,3,5-7 and lateral cervical region.8 The purpose of this article is to report a case treated in the hospital environment and under general anesthesia to remove a tooth in the lateral pharyngeal space.
