Abstract

Abstract A 24-year-old patient with previous catheter ablation for right septal accessory pathway (AP) presented with recurrence of preexcitation and palpitations. In this case report results of electrophysiology study confirming presence of a right paraseptal and left lateral AP, as well as mapping and successful radiofrequency (RF) ablation of left lateral AP using the QDOT MICRO™ ablation catheter with very-high power short-duration (90 Watts, 4 seconds) and of right paraseptal AP using power-controlled RF-ablation are presented. To our knowledge this is the first case of AP ablation using a new ablation catheter facilitating high-resolution mapping with microelectrodes as well as ablation with very-high power short-duration (90 Watts, 4 seconds).
