Abstract

This article explores how accessible educational resources, assistive technology and information design can collaborate to promote the educational inclusion of people with hearing impairments. Combining these approaches contributes to the understanding of content, engagement and participation of students with hearing impairment, as well as enhancing their communication and interaction, raising self-esteem and confidence. This study aims to investigate how these resources can promote the educational inclusion of people with hearing impairment, identifying their capabilities and limitations and proposing strategies to improve accessibility and quality of life in the educational environment. The methodology employed will be the systematic literature review (RBL). It is concluded the importance of these approaches for the educational and social inclusion of people with hearing impairment. Investments in research and development of these resources are fundamental to promote the inclusion of these people on equal terms in society.
