Abstract
This article deals with the problematic of the oral modality as a mean of interaction, improving the usability of the interactive systems. We will introduce a typology of the systems where the use of speech technologies could benefit the Human-Computer Interaction. Then, we will briefly show some results from a case study based on an evaluation of speech recognition for dictation systems in French, relating to age.
