And if your new car is a Ford, Nissan, or Mitsubishi made in North America, you can impress your friends and neighbors by telling them that the PPG paint primer coat contains yttrium instead of lead. By the time the people gathered to see your car figure out how to spell yttrium, you can tell them that this environmentally friendly innovation was one of this year's winners of a Presidential Green Chemistry Challenge Award.
