Acceptance of Jin and Yuan dynasty poetry in late Joseon period : Focused on Chongbirok of Lee Deok-mu

Abstract

이덕무는 연암그룹이 어느 정도 공유했던 금･원대시 인식을 잘 대표하는 작가로서, 淸脾錄 에 다수의 금･원대시 관련 언술을 남겼다. 본고에서는 이를 살펴봄으로써, 조선후기 금･원대시 수용의 한 구체적인 양상을 살펴보 고자 한다. 청비록 내에서 이덕무는 원대시에 대한 개인적인 애호를 드러 내고, 문학적인 성취 면에서도 대체로 호평하였다. 또한 이덕무는 청대 詩 學과 금･원대시가 연관되는 맥락을 인지하고 있었으며, 청대에 출간된 금･ 원대시 관련 문헌을 입수하고 독서하였다. 청비록 에서 때로는 고려 시에 대한 관심의 연장에서 고려와 동시기인 원대시에 대한 관심이 증대되기도 하였다. 詩話 속에 금･원대시의 자리를 마련하고, 또 이런 언술들이 왕사정등 청초 문인들의 금･원대시 관련 언술과 긴밀하게 관련맺는 경향은 이덕무의 후손인 이규경의 詩家點燈 에서도 이어진다.Lee Deok-mu is a writer who represents the perception toward Jin and Yuan dynasty poetry shared by Yŏnam group. He has written Chongbirok including the discourse on Jin and Yuan dynasty poetry. This discourse is reviewed in this manuscript as a concrete aspect of acceptance of Jin and Yuan dynasty poetry in late Joseon Period. He showed a liking for Yuan Dynasty poetry and commented favorably on its literary achievements in Chongbirok. And Lee Deok-mu had a contextual understanding of the relation between poetics of Qing Period and Jin and Yuan dynasty poetry. Further, He acquired and read literature on Jin and Yuan dynasty poetry published during Qing period. Sometimes interest in Yuan Dynasty poetry had increased in Chongbirok as an extension of attention to the poetry of Goryeo period which is the same age of Yuan Dynasty. It is passed to Shigajumdeung written by Lee Kyu Kyung, the descendant of Lee Deok-mu, Setting up the domain of Jin and Yuan dynasty poetry in a criticism of poems and relating this discussion with the discourse on Jin and Yuan dynasty poetry by the writers of early Qing dynasty including Wang Shi-zhen.
