Abstract

The chapter presents literature review with the beginning of e-learning in higher education, followed by methodology. E-learning has been introduced as a fundamental part of the student learning experience in higher education in many developed countries all over the world. The online survey was conducted amongst students of Military University of Technology located in Poland. The objective of the questionnaire was to assess the very first experiences of students related to online teaching. Online studying is very different from traditional learning, the shift from conventional pedagogy in higher education to the online mechanism required by teachers to veer their pedagogy. Students generally positively assess the decision of introducing online teaching. As the students immediately switched from regular to online mode, it is important to know the comfort level of students with online mode of study.
