Abstract

Results of experimental and theoretical investigations into the effect of grain-boundary diffusion acceleration at recrystallization in submicrocrystalline (SMC) metals by the method of equal-channel angular pressing are described. It is demonstrated that the grain-boundary diffusion coefficient at recrystallization in SMC materials depends on the lattice dislocation density and character and velocity of grain boundary migration.
