Abstract

There are few activities more fraught with difficulty than the championing of change. The research work on which this article is based is being done in one multinational company in order to speed up the processes of innovation. Here the authors deal specifically with the problem of creating a micro-climate within the company to permit breakthrough and change, describing the function and results of an innovation workshop and the method they have developed for characterizing an individual's thinking style.
