Abstract
In modern Intelligent Maintenance Systems, the quality of a machine or equipment also depends on the reliability and safety support. Sometimes these requirements are not met and the machine may then be unavailable. This paper aims to describe an approach for using accelerated life testing to support the operational life stage in order to determine the product lifecycle stages. The proposed approach was built upon previous experiences based on the project Integrating Intelligent Maintenance Systems and Spare Parts Supply Chains I2MS2C. Our goal is to present the preliminary results we have gotten to date by using the ReliaSofts ALTATM software to identify the product lifecycle stages for specific parts of an electric actuator.
