Abstract
Background: Accelerated repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation paradigms have been shown to result in fast decreases in depressive symptoms and suicidal ideation. However, the neural working mechanisms behind this prompt reductions on mood and suicidal thoughts, also after having received placebo stimulation, remains to be determined.
