She joined Malvern Panalytical (formerly Malvern Instruments) in 2008 as a Product Technical Specialist for biophysical characterization. In 2013, Hanna moved into R&D, where, as Principal Applications Scientist, she set up and mentored the team responsible for developing new applications and instruments across all product ranges. In 2017, Hanna became product owner for the Zetasizer Advance range of light scattering instruments, overseeing the development of new hardware and software. In 2019 Hanna moved to a strategic marketing role, focusing on complex drug product development.
