Abstract
The Lochkovian Nostolepis minima zone is present in all the explored types of facies. The following Early andMiddle Devonian acanthodian zones are specific of the Old Red facies; and differ from those established in carbonate ones. Carbonate and transitional mixed facies contain very close acanthodian zonal sequences in the Early Devonian.
