Abstract

The synthesis of two spectral intervals in the optical range allows to determine LTE abundances of helium, magnesium, phosphorus and neon for this evolved B subgiant. Compared to the solar abundances, helium, neon and phosphorus are found to be overabundant by a factor of 5, magnesium by a factor of 4. The helium line at 4471 Å recorded by two different instruments about ten years apart does not vary. Additional information on the abundances of other elements was also inferred: carbon, oxygen, aluminum, sulfur and iron have abundances very close to the solar values, in contrast nitrogen, titanium and xenon require mild overabundances.
