Abstract

We searched for the (1-0) rotation line of carbon monoxide on Titan with the IRAM 30-m radiotelescope on Pico-Veleta, Spain. Comparison of the results with previous near-infrared observations of Titan suggests that the stratospheric abundance of carbon monoxide is depleted with respect to the tropospheric value.
