Abstract
Abstract Corvus corone cornix was studied on the two agricultural plots (9.25 km2 and 4.45 km2 respectively) in Lower Savinja valley (Central Slovenia, 46′16°N 15°03′E) during its breeding period (March-June) i. 1998. Density of Corvus corone comix on the research area was 1.9 and 1.1 pairs/km2 respectively. Corvus corone cornix significantly prefers fields (without hops) through nesting periods when feeding. During the study period Corvus corone cornix foraged mainly singly.
