Abstract
This book of abstracts encapsulates the collective insights and research findings presented at the 54th Annual General and Scientific Meeting of the Association of Psychiatrists in Nigeria (APN), held from 26th November to 1st December 2023, at the Professor Emeritus Umaru Shehu Centre for Mental Health and Psychosocial Support, Federal Neuropsychiatric Hospital, Maiduguri, Nigeria. Centred around the theme "National Mental Health Reforms: Prospects and Strategies of Implementation of the National Mental Health Act 2021," the conference engaged over one hundred and thirty professionals in a vital discourse on mental health reforms in Nigeria, touching on subthemes like 'Brain Drain, Brain Gain and Brain Circulation' and 'Post-conflict Resettlement and Stabilization.'
