Abstract

The 28th annual conference of the International Society for Environmental Epidemiology was held 1 - 4 September 2016 in Rome, Italy. The conference theme was "Old and New Risks: Challenges for Environmental Epidemiology." The focus of this year's conference is current and future challenges in exposure assessment, study design, and data analyses.

  • Weighted quantile sum (WQS) regression approaches for mixture analyses in environmental epidemiology

  • Based on an toxicological and epidemiologic evaluation, we carried out a health risk assessment to evaluate the cancer risk deriving from environmental and occupational exposure to heavy metals released during dierent waste derived from electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) recycling procedures
