Abstract

The technical success of percutaneous dialysis access interventions can usually be determined by physical examination (PE). However, when a discrepancy exists between PE and angiographic findings, we believe that intra-access direct flow measurements offer supplemental information, and thus may be used as a problem solving tool or to gain additional information about the access. The purpose of this study was to identify procedural scenarios in which flow measurements were made and how they affected the chosen course of action.
