Abstract

Chemosaturation percutaneous hepatic perfusion (CS-PHP) with melphalan provides selective intrahepatic delivery of high dose cytotoxic melphalan while limiting systemic toxicity through hemofiltration of the hepatic venous blood. The aim of this study was to investigate safety, therapy response and survival of CS-PHP in patients with curatively untreatable liver-dominant metastatic uveal melanoma (UM).
