Abstract

Prostate artery embolization (PAE) has emerged as an effective and favorable procedure for treatment of lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) in patients with BPH. Operators require a detailed understanding of the prostate artery identification, catheterization, and embolization techniques to minimize radiation exposure. This purpose of this study is to evaluate the radiation exposure during PAE with increased experience at a single institution.
