Abstract

Irreversible electroporation (IRE) is a minimally invasive thermal ablation method aiming to destroy tumor tissues through the delivery of high-frequency electrical energy in short pulses. Depending on the amount of transferred energy, the structure of the tissues is altered reversibly or irreversibly. In this study, we have interpreted textural characteristics of T1w MRI texture to identify the association of histopathological tumor biomarkers for the noninvasive assessment of IRE ablation treatment.
