Abstract

Patient factors predicting positive outcomes after femoropopliteal angioplasty and stenting remain poorly delineated. Few studies have investigated the predictive value of TASC (TransAtlantic Inter-Society Consensus) II classification on patient outcomes. Chronic kidney disease (CKD) has been implicated in poor outcomes. The purpose of our study is to understand the effect of chronic kidney disease on initial TASC II classifications in regard to patient outcomes.
