Abstract
The Milano criteria (MC) have become widely accepted guidelines for orthotopic liver transplantation (OLT) candidacy in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). We evaluated the tumor response and post-OLT outcomes of patients who underwent chemoembolization either to maintain candidacy within MC or to downstage advanced disease to fall within the MC.
