Abstract

Preservation of superficial epigastric vein (SEV) patency is theorized to prevent neovascularization and recanalization following endovenous laser ablation (EVLA) of great saphenous vein (GSV). The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between GSV EVLA with laser fiber position below the SEV inflow with preservation of SEV patency and its effect on successful GSV ablation.
