Abstract

In cases of recurrent breast cancer after standard therapies it is often difficult to control the tumor growth and hard to expect good prognosis. However, there is a potential to continue the treatment of recurrent breast cancer through breast and axillary tumor feeding arteries using the recently developed techniques of interventional radiology. In this study, we investigated the contribution of this treatment to patients with recurrent breast cancer.
