Abstract

Inferior vena cava filter (IVCF)-related iliocaval thrombosis is a complication with significant morbidity; however, data on its prevalence and risk factors predisposing to its occurrence are sparse, outdated, and highly inconsistent. This study aims to elucidate the incidence of caval thrombosis in modern practice settings and identify factors which increase the risk of iliocaval thrombosis following IVCF implantation.
