Abstract

Practice variation within the interventional radiology community has raised question whether abdominal aortic angiograms (AAs) should be obtained during uterine fibroid embolization (UFE) to identify arterial supply to uterine fibroids from the ovarian arteries (OAs). Our institutional trend has favored the use of AAs at the time of UFE. We report the retrospective utility of AAs in identifying the OAs and the effect of these findings on procedural and clinical management12.
