Abstract

Abstract Louisiana has the fourth highest colorectal cancer incidence and third highest mortality rate in the country. Within the state of Louisiana, wide disparities exist with regard to colorectal cancer incidence, mortality, and access to screening tests. In this session, epidemiologic data will be explored in order to better understand these disparities and strategies will be discussed to decrease colorectal cancer rates and maximize access to life-saving screening tests, including colonoscopy and stool-based testing.
