Abstract
Abstract Data Types (ADTs) has been introduced recently to Israeli high-school students as tools for problem solving and knowledge representation in Prolog environment. This paper reviews a research that was conducted in order to assess the influence of students' use of ADTs on the development process of knowledge-based Prolog programs.
