Abstract

The Ewing Sarcoma family (ESF) includes many types including bone-specific tumors, extraosseous, and Askin’s tumors. Approximately 5% of Ewing Sarcomas (ES) involve the head and neck. Sarcomas are less than 1% of thyroid cancer cases. ES is suspected when sheets or nests of cells are seen on microscopy. To our knowledge, there are only 8 cases of primary ES of the thyroid described in literature. We present a case of primary Adamantinoma-like Ewing Sarcoma of the thyroid gland.
