Abstract
SARS-CoV-2 vaccinations resulted in a significant reduction in the transmission of COVID-19 infection, hospitalization, and mortality, yet it has been associated with the development and exacerbation of various autoimmune diseases, including thyroid autoimmune disorders. We report the new onset of Graves’ disease (GD) post-mRNA COVID vaccine in a patient with a background history of spontaneously recovered primary hypothyroidism and a prior COVID-19 infection.
